What is Peace?

Every day I go own Twitter and I see another Brother or Sister dying.
Another Mother and Father crying.
All by the hands of the police.
But they are supposed to protect the peace?
The story is the same every time:
Cops pull a trigga
Kill a nigga
And he's a hero.
No indictment
No charges
You blacks is worth zero.

So what is peace?
When all I see is death on the streets by racist police.
So what is peace?
When Darren Wilson is a hero, a millionaire, for killing an unarmed negro.
If you can't tell, let me make it simple: There is no peace.

With every ounce of frustration and anger I feel towards systemic racism, I let my voice be heard.

I yell: No Justice No Peace, No Justice No Peace
I’m tired of them killing us as if we are not human beings
No Justice No Peace
No Justice No Peace
I’m going to make it known that we are human beings

We take to the streets to let it be known that we are tired of innocent lives dying.

To let it be known that:
There will be no more Mothers crying while police are smiling

To let it be known that:
There will be no more blood on the ground while institutionalized racism is thriving.

To let it be known that:
We will fight for justice until all Black Lives Matter.

To let it be known that: until there is equality and justice for all, until we are not shackled by institutionalized racisms whips and chains..

There will be no peace .
